Lopez Plumbing is Luis Lopez — one licensed plumber, a truck, and a quarter century of work across San Diego County.

Luis learned the trade the way most good plumbers do: on job sites, starting at the bottom. Twenty-five years later he's run the plumbing on more houses and commercial buildings than he's kept count of — underground before the slab, rough-in through the framing, trim-out at the end, and back again for the inspections. That's where the years went, and it's the part of the work he still knows best.

These days a lot of what he does is service and repair. Water heaters that quit on a cold morning. A leak behind a wall that somebody noticed too late. A faucet that's been dripping for a year. It's different work than a new build — smaller, faster, and usually happening in somebody's kitchen while they're trying to get on with their day — but it draws on the same 25 years. When you've built the system from scratch a few hundred times, you tend to know where it fails.

It's a small operation and Luis keeps it that way on purpose. He answers his own phone, looks at the job himself, and does the work himself — so the person who quotes you is the person who shows up. He'd rather tell you a repair will hold for another two years than sell you a replacement you don't need yet. If he can't get there when you need him, he'll say that too.
